Phentermine
Phentermine is used to help you lose excessive weight in combination with dieting and exercising regularly. If you simply take this medicine, it is unlikely to help you lose weight and the effects you achieve may not be as great as you expected. Phentermine is available in both capsules and tablets. You are typically supposed to use this medication once a day in the morning with a full glass of water or 3 times daily about half an hour before having a meal. Make sure you follow all the directions of your health car provider and never use more of phentermine than recommended to avoid an overdose. Any medicines you are taking at the moment are supposed to be reported directly to your health care provider, as interactions are possible. Make sure you mention the fact of taking any of the following drugs: MAO inhibitors, insulin, vitamins, depression meds, fluvoxamine, paroxetine, fluoxetine, medications for weight loss, sertraline, and guanethidine. The doctor is also supposed to know if you ever had certain medial conditions that may interfere with the success of your treatment, such as heart disease, high blood pressure, history of drug or alcohol abuse, problems with your thyroid, diabetes, arteriosclerosis, seizure disorder, anxiety disorder, or glaucoma.
